In 2015, our founder, Aladdin Tungmeas, saw a need for better social programs for children in Cambodia when he visited his family. At this time, he vowed to make a difference by starting a non-profit and non-governmental organization that will help build educated leaders, starting with the basic needs of children.
Today, Cambodia's education indicators are among the lowest in Asia. Better educated children and youth will provide Cambodia with the foundation for a skilled workforce that can be competitive in the global marketplace, as well as a democratic and stable society.
With the U-turn to Hope program, the children and families served are the focus, seeking to empower children and families to develop in a diverse and caring environment.
Our goal is to provide children and youth educational resources, computer classes, career development, job training/placement, school/homework help, sports/recreational activities, arts/crafts and advocacy.
